August 21st, 2010 wedding of Shabnam & Pravin at the Hilton/Casino in Hull. These two were absolutely, positively, completely in love in its purest form !! It was important for Pravin that I begin the recap video with the poem he read to Shabnam later that night during the reception. A real romantic & true gentleman, Pravin paid attention to every minute details preparing this special day. We first headed up to Shabnam's room. When we met her, Caroline & I new right away that we were going to shoot something very special that day. Shabnam exuded so much love ,friendship that it is impossible to not like this person :-)
The rest of the day just flew by.

Sylvain, Caroline : I am at loss for words to express how absolutely delighted we are in having known you, having seen your work, and having experienced true professionalism. When I met you for the first planning session, I was very impressed with your demeanor, and I knew you and your team will be amazing. I went back home that day and told Shabnam about how nice you & Caroline are. On the day of our wedding, you & your team made us so comfortable!! I knew what you will be shooting for us in this day is something that we would watch & cherish for many many times in our lifetime. I had absolute confidence in your team, and how right that belief was. Sylvain/Caroline/Rahil, what you have delivered to us is something we are very grateful for. All the folks in our family in Canada, India, Persia had tears of joy in their eyes when they saw your work. Your editing and tailoring the scenes in the video to the meaning of the lyrics of the poem I was reading is just marvelous. When I mention breeze in my poem, your video has a scene with Shabnam in a gentle breeze. When I mention radiance, you have radiance in the video, when I mention shadow in the poem, you have shadow in the video. When I mention about looking for a face, you have a shot of me looking at Shabnam. That is absolute brilliance in editing. The second part of the video is just as amazing. How wonderfully you have fused the Christian, Hindu & Persian elements of our ceremony!!!! The choice of the music for the video is also superb. I had this CD for many months but yet it is in your video I saw the true potential of the songs. The use of multiple cameras and angles is also amazing, especially in the "you may kiss the bride" and "Bride & father walking down" part. Both me & Shabnam are very happy with your work. Honestly, we cannot stop watching it!! And we don't intend to either!!! It's visually & spiritually intoxicating, exhilarating and yet so genuine!! You have managed to captured the spirit of mine & Shabnam's soul on that day, and express it in this digital medium. For that we are are very grateful!!! Thank you for giving us something precious.
